About Me
I'm passionate about engineering.
For me, engineering is more than just making things work. It's about taking our understanding of the world around us and applying it to achieve new heights. Along the way, it is an opportunity to learn new tricks, connect with people, and have fun.
I'm passionate about getting things done.
I enjoy the technical and logistical challenges of getting things done well and in a timely fashion. A core tenet of my interest in automation is its precision, speed, and how it augments worker capabilities. I thrive in an interdisciplinary, collaborative work environment.

I'm passionate about stories and connections.
I enjoy hearing stories from others: who they've met, what they've done, when they've learned, where they've been, why they've changed. Hearing about the experiences of others and their varying perspectives helps me understand that what I'm going through is a common experience. It helps ground me and makes my problems feel more manageable. Understanding and empathizing with the diverse people I meet helps me to create better designs.
I also enjoy telling stories. Whether it be through my work behind the stage or my engineering projects, I care about sharing a narrative. With my experiences inside and out of the classroom, I strive to tell the story of iterative design and working hard to reach an end goal.
